Two ensembles competed in the Waltrip Pre-UIL Festival this morning. Both ensembles received an award for their outstanding performance! The Wind Ensemble received a first division (superior) rating in the Concert & Sight-reading room. The Symphonic Winds received a second division (excellent) rating for their Concert performance and a first division (superior) in the Sight-reading room.
Both bands will spend the next three weeks preparing for the UIL Concert & Sight-reading Contest.
