Here are a few updates for the next few (crazy important) days and events!

Tuesday 10/18
3:45 - 6:45 After School Rehearsal

Thursday 10/20
3:45 - 6:45 After School Rehearsal

Saturday 10/22 - Set Your Alarms!

6:30am - Band hall opens
7:00am - Depart Westside HS
8:00am - 10:45am Rehearse at BUTLER Stadium
11:45am - Leave BUTLER Stadium
1:00pm - FB Game at DELMAR (Westside HS vs Heights HS [formerly Reagan])
4:00pm - Game Ends; load buses and trucks
4:30pm - Arrive at Westside HS

Monday 10/24
3:45 - 6:45 After School Rehearsal

Tuesday 10/25 - UIL MARCHING CONTEST!

3:45pm - 4:25pm - Rehearsal
5:05pm - Leave Westside High School
5:45pm - Arrive at Rhodes Stadium
6:50pm - Walk to Warm Up
7:00pm - 7:30pm - Warm Up in WU B Section
7:45pm - Performance!
9:00pm - Arrive back to WHS

Thursday 10/27

3:45 - 4:20 - Homecoming Festivities Practice with Court
4:20 - 7:15 - Area Rehearsal*

(*Contingent on Area advancement)

Friday 10/28 - FB Game vs Sam Houston HS *HoCo*

3:50pm - Run-through in band shoes/long socks, Wolf Band shirt, and shakos (hats)
5:15pm - Load Trucks; Inspection in Auditorium
5:45pm - Depart Westside HS
6:15pm - Arrive @ Delmar Stadium
7:00pm - Kickoff!
appx. 10:00pm Game Ends
appx. 10:20pm Depart Delmar Stadium
appx. 10:45pm Arrive @ Westside HS; Uniform Check-In

***Band Hall will close 30 minutes after our arrival time. Please have your rides arranged!

Saturday 10/29
UIL AREA CONTEST - contingent on advancement from Region

Greetings,

The next few days are pretty intense! Here's some info for the next couple of events:

Saturday 10/8 - Katy Invitational Marching Contest

6:00AM - CALL TIME; DO NOT BE LATE! Eat breakfast before you arrive!
6:30 - Leave WHS
7:00 - Arrive at Katy Rhodes Stadium
7:45 - 8:15 - Warm Up in Area B
8:30 - Performance!
9:15 - Leave Katy Rhodes Stadium
9:45AM - 12:45PM - Clinic at Tompkins HS in under-uniform attire. Make sure you have your WATER JUG.
***Wear SHOW SHIRT for Katy Contest; bring a WHITE or GRAY shirt to change into, if desired.***
2:00PM - Arrive at WHS; unload/uniform check-in

Band Hall closes 30 minutes after our arrival. Please have a ride ready to take you home.

Monday 10/10 - After School Rehearsal
3:45pm - 6:45pm After School Rehearsal (because we have a short week this week!)

Tuesday 10/11 - Early Dismissal/HISD Marching Contest

12:05PM - Early Dismissal (go eat lunch and come back for rehearsal!)
1:45 - 5:15 - Rehearsal
6:00 - Leave WHS
7:00 - Warm Up
7:45 - Performance
9:00PM - Arrive at WHS; unload/uniform check-in

Band Hall closes 30 minutes after our arrival. Please have a ride ready to take you home.

Wednesday 10/12 - No classes!

Thursday 10/13 - FB vs Chavez HS @ Delmar Stadium (Senior Night/MS Band Night)

4:00pm Reps/Runs in 'under-uniform' clothes (shakos, band shirt, long black socks, band shoes)
4:45pm Load trucks; inspection
5:00pm Depart Westside HS
5:30pm Arrive @ Delmar Stadium
6:30pm Senior Night Presentation (Seniors ONLY)
7:00pm Game Starts
9:45pm Game Ends; load trucks
10:20pm Depart Delmar Stadium
11:00pm Arrive at Westside HS

Band Hall closes 30 minutes after our arrival. Please have a ride ready to take you home.
